Introduction:
I finished this writing assignment on October 25th 2013. We did this assignment because we just finished <Tuesday with Morrie> at that time, so this is about what we learned from that book and we did research too.
I finished this writing assignment on October 25th 2013. We did this assignment because we just finished <Tuesday with Morrie> at that time, so this is about what we learned from that book and we did research too.
Reflection:
The hardest part of this assignment is to understand the meaning of die and dying. Things I did well on the assignment is I read <Tuesday with Morrie> very carefully. If I had to do this assignment again, I will do more research. What I learned from this assignment is that I really understand more about die and dying.

Die&Dying
Part I: Indroduction:
1. This topic is personally important to me because nobody knows what will happen after we die. I want to know in different cultures what will happen after people die.
2. Before I started searching, I have already know that everyone will die. After pwople die, maybe they will go to heaven or hell, or maybe they will reborn to be a human or animal. When we are dying, we will be very painful.
Part II: What I want to learn:
1. I want to learn what will people feel when they are dying, what is the relationship between death and life, how can I know I’m going to die, is death important to us, and why people are afraid of death. My main research question is “ What will people feel when they are dying.” My sub research question are “How can I know I’m going to die” and “Why people are afraid of death.”
Part III: The story of my search:
The three sources I plan to use are interview my classmates, find information in <Tuesday with Morrie> and read some informtion from an article.
1. On October 23 2013 in Mr.Ward’s classroom, I interviewed Max, Tina, Srah and Serena. I want to find out what different kinds of people think about death. I asked them “Where do you think you will go after you die?” Max thought the king of hell will make the dicision. Serena said she will go to heaven or hell. Tina believed she will become a soul and she can see living people but she can’t see other souls. Sarah answered she will become the air and stay in the world. The second question I asked is “Do you afraid of death and why?” Max, Serena and Sarah all don’t afraid of death but Tian said she is afraid of death and also don’t afraid of death. Max think death is a good thing. Serena doesn’t afraid of death because everyone is going to die. Sarah said she doesn’t afraid of death because she think we may die at any time. Tina said she afraid of death becaue she doesn’t know what will happened after she die. But she doesn’t afraid of death because she think it’s a natural phenomena. Then I asked them “Is death important to you and why?” The answer is, they all think death is important to them because they think death is a part of the life, the end of the life. Everyone is going to die. People will die and never ever come back. The last question I asked them is “What do you think you will feel after you die?” Max, Serena and Tina all think they will have no feelings but Sarah think she will feel pain.
Then I read the <Tuesday wiht Morrie> book. I try to find information from this book because Morrie always have some special ideas. I want to see his opinion and have to have a deeper understanding of death. Morrie's belief about this topic is “Once you learn how to die, yo learn how to live. Learn how to die, and you learn how to live.” (pg.82)And what I learned from reading the book is, we must know what we will lose after we die, then we can know what we should Cherish when we are alive.
I use the article “cultural_views_on_death” to learn more about death because it can tell what may we be and where may be go after we die. I learned in Christian, Islamic and Buddhist, they all have a paradise. In Hindu and Egyptian, they don’t have a paradise. In Christian, Islamic, Egyptian and Buddhist, they all have a hell or place for punishment. But in Hindu, it doesn’t. In Christian, Hindu, Egyptian and Buddhist, they all believe soulds will leave the body. In Islamic, it doesn’t believe this. They all believe the dead will pay for doing wrong in life and the dead are reborn return to earth. Hindu and Buddhist belive the dead are judged but Christian, Islamic and Egyptian don’t believe this.
2. a. My source is from Mr.Ward’s weebly, other people’s opinion, <Tuesday with Morrie> and baidu.
b. i I get opinion from Max, Sarah, Tina and Serena.
ii I hoping to find different culture’s believes from Mr.Ward’s weebly and how can we face death from <Tuesday with Morrie>.
Part IV: Reflections on My Search:
1. I learned what people think about death, what will we go after we die. I learned death in different cultures. I learned what can I do with death and what should I do before I die.
2. I suprised that there are too many believes about death and how different people think about death.
3. I will be positive to face death and do everything I think worth to do. I will not afraid of death.
